We're currently looking to fill the following position:

Office Assistant

Cape Publishing is seeking a part-time Office Assistant to join our team. This position is 20 hours a week (four hours per day), Monday through Friday, in our Cape May office. Salary commensurate with experience.


  • Provide the first point of customer service for Cape Publishing; our brands, Cape May Magazine,, Cape May Restaurant Week; and answer general questions regarding the Cape May area
  • Handle daily office tasks, including reception, filing, mailings, processing payments, and maintaining office inventory
  • Gather local information for, our event calendar, and blog
  • Represent Cape Publishing at local festivals


  • Knowledge and passion for Cape May and the surrounding area
  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years customer service experience preferred
  • Adaptable to a variety of software, especially Microsoft Access
  • Exceptional phone manners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable answering and making phone calls

Desired additional skills and experience
