How do I start a mailing list?

Lots of people want to know how to capture e-mail addresses and start a mailing list to e-mail their customers. 

Commercial email is regulated by the FTC. There's a lot to know when it comes to sending email to consumers. Make sure you know the law before you start sending: Visit the FTC Website for information.
